Congress dares Arun Jaitley to come out with full information on blackmoney
The government recently told the SC that it cannot disclose the names of Swiss bank account holders, a stand the UPA had taken earlier.

Citing the finance minister’s remarks that the government could reveal around 136 names, Congress has accused the NDA regime of “trying to protect the rest of the many black money accounts holders through “selective leakage.”
AICC communication department head Ajay Maken said, “there is no need to try and blackmail Congress. That will not work. Whatever name they have, they should reveal and act as they are in government.” Reminding that PM Narendra Modi had said during his campaign speeches that the BJP government would bring back black money and each citizen will have Rs 15 lakh in their accounts, Maken said, “don’t mislead people as already 100 days have passed and it is going to be 150 days since BJP formed the government. Yet, not a single penny has come. People of the country including me are waiting for Rs 15 lakh to come into their accounts as was promised by Modi ji.”
Accusing Jaitley of bluff, AICC general secretary Digvijaya Singh tweeted, “The FM should tell us when he is depositing 3 L (lakh) in a/c of every citizen as promised by Modi. Can it be a Diwali gift under Jan Dhan Yojna or we have to wait till 2019! FEKUISM at its best.”
Reminding Jaitley that “Congress is too experienced and rooted a party to be blackmailed”, AICC spokesman Abhsiehk Singhvi asked a series of questions to the finance minister: “When will black money be brought back? Why did the NDA government move an application in the Supreme Court against disclosing the names of the blackmoney accounts holders? Why is the government talking about revealing only 136 names and whom are they trying to protect through selective leakage? Describe all concert steps, other than going to Switzerland, taken by the Modi government to get blackmoney back.” Singhvi has also asked the NDA regime not “to crow about constituting a SIT on black money since the government was only acting on a Supreme Court order of May 1 to constitute the SIT.”
