Congress battle in Parliament against NDA to be replicated in assemblies
The Congress’ all-out battle in Parliament against the NDA regime will soon be replicated in state assemblies where the BJP is in power.

The CM of Gujarat will be targeted over ‘law and order break-down and raging social unrest’. The new resolve will be visible in Raja-sthan assembly that begins on September 16.
The Congress has suffered serial electoral losses in BJPruled MP, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat etc, resulting in considerable fall in the strength of its legislative wings.
“But the way the defeated Congress has been cornering the Modi regime in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha has convinced us that similar aggressive tactics can be deployed in assemblies too”, a CLP leader who attended the meeting told ET. Recently, Congress MLAs had protested in the Gujarat assembly but their suspensions went almost unnoticed nationally.
