Congress attacks Left over timing of withdrawal of support
The Congress has attacked the communists for the timing of their decision to withdraw support to the government.

NEW DELHI: Unfazed over Left's decision to withdraw support to the government at the Centre, the Congress on Tuesday attacked the communists for the timing of their decision.
"When the entire nation is mourning those killed in the Kabul blast, the Left has chosen to make the announcement. It is most unfortunate. They think their prestige is more important than the nation's prestige," AICC media department chairman Veerappa Moily said minutes after the Left's announcement.
Party chief Sonia Gandhi not unaware of the Left's stance called an emergency meeting of senior leaders to take stock of the situation.
A meeting of the Cabinet Committee of Parliamentary Affairs (CCPA) is scheduled to be held this evening which will decide on the dates for the monsoon session of Parliament.
The CCPA meeting is being held amid reports that the Government could go in for a trust vote on July 28 during a special session.
Reports from Vienna, the headquarters of IAEA, said the international nuclear watchdog would hold a meeting on July 28 to finalise its rules for India.
