Congress appoints coordinators, observers for Delhi Assembly polls

11 PCC coordinators, 14 district observers and 70 assembly observers have been appointed by Delhi Congress chief Jai Prakash Aggarwal.

NEW DELHI: Delhi Congress has begun its preparations for the Assembly elections with the appointment of nearly 100 coordinators and observers who would tour and conduct meetings in constituencies across the capital.

Eleven PCC coordinators, 14 district observers and 70 assembly observers have been appointed by Delhi Congress chief Jai Prakash Aggarwal.

These coordinators and observers will visit assembly constituencies and hold meeting in four municipal wards and at booth levels.

The list of coordinators include Suresh Malik, Rajinder Malik, Dheerendra Tyagi, Abhijit Singh Gulati, Sunil Anand and Naresh Kumar.

The other coordinators are C P Mittal, Mahmood Zia, Sanjay Puri, Sukhbir Sharma and T C Rao.

The Delhi elections are expected to be held by November this year.
