Congress admits four opposition leaders in Karnataka
NEW DELHI: Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Congress today admitted four opposition leaders in Karnataka, including two former state ministers, and strengthened its Goa unit by making some additional appointments.

Former JDS ministers Raja Amareshwara Naik and B S Siddhanagoudar and B S Suresh, a former Independent MLA, and Balraj, a former MLA, were admitted into the party in Karnataka.

In Goa, Babi Bagkar was made the state Congress Vice President and Anuradha Dinkar was given the post of Secretary.

Five members were added to the state executive. They are--Vaman Choudankar, Victor Diniz, Sadanand Kanekar, Mahadev Desai and Eknath Shirodkar.
