JAIPUR: Rajasthan Congress today accused BJP of misusing state machinery for getting electoral gains in Jharkhand and said the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly election results showed that there was no "Modi wave".

"There was no Modi wave in J&K while the party misused government machinery in Jharkhand," PCC Vice President Archna Sharma said.

Rajasthan BJP, on the other hand, celebrated the party's victory in Jharkhand Assembly election and their good showing in Jammu and Kashmir by bursting crackers and distributing sweets.

The party's vote percentage was high (in Jammu and Kashmir) and it shows that people supported development agenda of the Prime Minister, BJP State President Ashok Parnami said.

"The party is going to form government in Jharkhand and our vote percentage was high in Jammu and Kashmir as compared to other parties. This reflects people's faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Modi," Parnami said.
