'Cong, SP, BSP have tacit understanding;no tie up with SP,BSP'
Accusing Cong, SP, BSP of having a tacit understanding, BJP national vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today said people would punish them in UP assembly elections.
"While Congress indulged in record loot in 2G spectrum case at the Centre, SP and BSP loot the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) money during their regimes in the last six and a half years," Naqvi told reporters here.
"Congress, SP and BSP looted public money like dacoits and ignored the interests of the state. People will punish them in the Assembly elections," he said.
Referring to financial irregularity of Rs 5,000 crore in the last six-and-a-half years as pointed out by CAG in its special audit report, Naqvi said SP and BSP were in power in the state during this period. Both these parties were supporting Congress-led UPA government at the Centre, he said.
Alleging that all the three parties supported each other on corruption issue, he said that if BJP was voted to power then an inquiry would be conducted into all scams and properties of guilty seized.
Naqvi ruled out any post-poll alliance with SP or BSP at any cost.
