Concrete road map required to promote SSIs, says Uttarakhand CM Vijay Bahuguna

DEHRADUN: Uttarakhand chief minister Vijay Bahuguna today said a concrete roadmap is needed to promote small scale industries in the state.

He also said there is a need for a comprehensive plan to provide land at best prices to attract investors in the state.

To provide proper electricity, opportunities should be explored for setting up of thermal power projects within and outside the state, he added.

Bahuguna has directed officials to speed up the process of formation of land bank for investors. The Chief Minister said a big automobile company has expressed interest in setting up a plant in the state.

He was speaking on the occassion of review of state industrial policy.
