'Conclave of South Indian Women Writers' to begin from January 20
The meet is expected to be a great opportunity to share the deeper dynamics of creativity with some of the most important contemporary women writers, the release stated.

Titled as the ' Conclave of South Indian Women Writers', the three-day event is expected to be participated by over 15 prominent writers of Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil language, a release by the university here said.
Based on the theme of 'Resonance and Resistance', the conference will provide an insight into writing as a process of response and resistance. Noted Tamil writer Meena Kandasamy and Malayalam writer P Valsala will attend in the inaugural session of the meet.
Writers like Sara Joseph, Chandramathi, P Geetha, O V Usha, Khadeeja Mumtaz, Rosemary, Bindu Krishnan, Salma, L G Meera, Jayantashree Balakrishnan, Sukeertha Rani, S S Anupama, K V Shailaja, K V Jayasree and T Vijayalakshmi are among those expected to take part in different sessions during the event.
