Complaint filed against Ramdev for 'anti-Dalit remarks'

BARMER: A complaint was today filed against yoga guru Ramdev in a local court here for his controversial remark that Rahul Gandhi visited Dalits' homes for honeymoon at a poll meeting in Uttar Pradesh.

One Bharamal Ram Meghwal filed the complaint with the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, sources said.

The court would take up the complaint on May 5. Ramdev, a supporter of BJP's PM nominee Narendra Modi, made the remark in Lucknow on April 25 and has drawn flak from all quarters since then. He has been booked by Uttar Pradesh police in this regard.
