Coastal security breach: BJP questions preparedness to deal with intrusions

BJP spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman recalled similar instances—Somali boat captured along the Gujarat coast in 2011, and aship MV Pavit found adrift at Juhu-Versova beach— to highlight coastal security breach.

“Post the enquiry, if it is established that this was a private rogue/cowboy operator, has the Government any mechanism to deal with it,”she asked.
