Coast Guard IG Satya Prakash Sharma visits Sri City SEZ

CHENNAI: Coast Guard Inspector General Satya Prakash Sharma made a brief visit to the Sri City Special Economic zone, situated about 90 km from here.

Sri City SEZ Managing Director Ravindra Sannareddy welcomed Sharma and briefed him on the infrastructure facilities available at the unit.

Sri City SEZ spread over 100 square km is home for several manufacturing units set up by multi-national companies.

Last week, global food and beverages maker PepsiCo Chairperson Indra Nooyi formally commissioned the first phase of a Rs 1,200 crore unit at Sri City which is aimed at serving the Southern region.
