Coalgate: Top observations made by Supreme Court

NEW DELHI: Coming down hard on both the government and CBI, Supreme Court has called the investigative agency a 'caged parrot with many masters'. Observing that CBI has to function independently, SC questioned how the agency can justify its act of making changes to the draft report in the Coalgate scam.

Leader of Opposition in leader in Sushma Swaraj, said that both the Law Minister Ashwani Kumar and the Attorney General G E Vahanvati should resign immediately. "ASG, AG & Law minister misconducted themselves," she said.
