CMs BJP ruled states of NE to participate in Northeast Samavesha in Bengaluru

These leaders have started campaigning and will be there till May 8 to reach out to the people of Northeast in general and Nagaland in particular.

There are about seven lakh people from the Northeastern region in Karnataka including more than 8,000 from Nagaland only in Bengaluru itself.
GUWAHATI: Ahead of Karnataka assembly polls, Chief ministers of BJP ruled states of Northeastern states will participate in Northeast Samavesha in Bengaluru on Sunday. The event will be also be participated by BJP president Amit Shah.

To woo Northeasterners in Karnataka, BJP ministers from Nagaland led by deputy chief minister, Y. Patton including Health & Family Welfare minister S. Pangyu Phom, Higher & Technical Education minister Temjen Imna Along and party’s organising secretary Ananta Mishra has reached Bengaluru.

These leaders have started campaigning and will be there till May 8. According to a press release issued by the party’s media cell, the delegation on Friday met BJP general secretary Muralidhar Rao at the party’s office in Bengaluru and deliberated on strategies to reach out to the people of Northeast in general and Nagaland in particular.
