Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa Thursday won the second confidence motion in the state assembly.

BANGALORE: Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa Thursday won the second confidence motion in the state assembly.

Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker K G Bopaiah adjourned the House sine die after conducting the floor test for the second time in a week .

The motion moved by Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa secured the support of 106 MLAs and was opposed by 100 MLAs.

The Yeddyurappa government has won the motion of confidence, Bopaiah announced.
