CM Uddhav Thackeray accuses NCB of targetting celebrities for publicity
Maharshtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray accused the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) of deliberately going after celebrities for publicity. "The Mumbai and Maharashtra Police seized heroin worth Rs 25 crores four days ago, but they caught 'heroin', not a 'heroine'. Hence, they did not get enough publicity," he said while taking a swipe at the NCB over the recent questioning of the actress Ananya Pandey in the Mumbai drug bust case.
