Clinton plans to visit India in second half of July

Hillary Clinton plans to visit India in the second half of this month.

WASHINGTON: US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton plans to visit India in the second half of this month, the State Department said today.

However, no dates have been announced yet, given that Clinton is yet to fully recover from the surgery of her right elbow, which she had fractured about two weeks ago at the Foggy Bottom headquarters of State Department.

"I think you are aware the Secretary does plan to visit India sometime in the second half of July. I do not have any details right now to release on it," State Department spokesman Ian Kelly said in response to a question at his daily press briefing.
