Citizenship delay due to BJP: Assam CM Tarun Gogoi

GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Monday said that the NDA government is adopting dillydally tactics on granting citizenship to ‘persecuted’ refugees from Bangladesh and said that the Central leadership is only paying lip service just to brighten its electoral prospects.

Union minister for External Affairs, Sushma Swaraj on Sunday said Congress is disrupting Parliament and not allowing important legislation to be passed.
