HYDERABAD: Central Industrial Security Force is doing a commendable job in every field of responsibilities assigned to it, CISF Director General Arvind Ranjan said today.

"In the recent years, CISF's role has witnessed an important change. I am happy to say that the Force has demonstrated its skills in newer roles of responsibilities assigned to it," Ranjan said at the Passing Out Parade of 363 trainees of 25th batch constables at the Fire Service Training Institute (FSTI) in the National Industrial Security Academy (NISA) here.

"...whether it is security cover to airports, Metro or national importance installations or protecting the vulnerable and critical assets of our country, the security of these is secured in the strong hands of CISF," he said.

"CISF is doing a commendable job in every field. The Force personnel are providing effective security to the undertakings and the capabilities it has demonstrated are receiving praises all across," he said.

"The FSTI is imparting training to personnel of fire and police departments of different states, Army and staff of industrial installations," Ranjan said adding that CISF is also providing security and fire-related guidance to government, non-governmental and private institutions.
