CISF detains passenger with pistol at Delhi airport

NEW DELHI: The Central Industrial Security Force ( CISF) today averted a major security threat by apprehending a passenger, who was flying to Dubai with a pistol and 10 bullets in a bag.

“When interrupted, the passenger said that it was not his bag and was handed over to him by someone, who had asked him to hand it over to a person in Dubai,” a CISF source told ET.

After the interrogation by CISF, passenger will be handed over to the police.
