CII hails West Bengal Government's decision on land acquisition

I am sure West Bengal will soon be on a road to new era of industrialisation," said Mr Sudhir Deoras, Chairman, CII Eastern Region, in a statement issued from Seoul, the capital of South Korea, today.
Currently, Mr Deoras, who is also the Managing Director of TRF Ltd, a Tata Group company, is leading an eight-member CII Eastern Region delegation to South Korea and Japan, the two Asian economic powerhouses."We are confident that the announcement by the West Bengal Government will embolden investors in these Asian powerhouses. We are here to make a strong pitch for Eastern Indian states, particularly, West Bengal," said Mr Deoras.
One of primary objectives of the delegation that consists of prominent industry leaders such as Mr Rajive Kaul, Past President, CII, and Chairman, Nicco Corporation Ltd, and Mr Viresh Oberoi, Deputy Chairman, CII Eastern Region, and Managing Director and CEO, Mjunction Services Limited, is to project and promote West Bengal as an attractive investment destination.
"We are confident CII Eastern Region's tryst with East Asia will produce win-win results. We hope to return home with encouraging outcomes for West Bengal," said Dr Saugat Mukherjee, Regional Director, CII Eastern Region.
