CII forms task force to oversee relief operations in Bihar
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has formed a special task force headed by its eastern region chairman Sandipan Chakravorty to oversee and monitor CII's relief and rehabilitation work for flood victims in Bihar.

NEW DELHI: Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has formed a special task force headed by its eastern region chairman Sandipan Chakravorty to oversee and monitor CII's relief and rehabilitation work for flood victims in Bihar.
The industry body has already taken up relief work in the flood-hit Saharsa and Supaul districts. A high-level CII team was recently in the state to take stock of the situation there.
The CII, in close partnership with Bihar government, specially minister for disaster management in the state cabinet Nitish Mishra, is setting up relief distribution centres in these districts.
