Churu recorded a minimum of 1.7 degree while the state's sole hill station Mount Abu shivered at 3 degree Celsius.

JAIPUR: Cold wave conditions prevailed in parts of Rajasthan where Churu remained the coldest place with a minimum temperature of 1.7 degree Celsius followed by Mount Abu.

Churu recorded a minimum of 1.7 degree while the state's sole hill station Mount Abu shivered at 3 degree Celsius.

Sriganganagar, Jaipur, Bikaner, Ajmer and Kota registered minimum of 5.1, 5.2, 6.8, 7.2 and 8.2 degree Celsius respectively whereas the night temperature was above 9.5 degree Celsius, a Met department official here.

There were also reports of ground frost in areas like Sikar, Jhunjhunu and nearby region, he said.

Meanwhile, due to fog conditions in northern region, 11 trains are running late up to 6 hours, a NWR spokesperson informed.
