Chittoor firing: Doctors to conduct fresh postmortem
A 3 member team of doctors arrived in Chennai to conduct fresh postmortem of 5 of the victims of the police firing in Seshachalam forests.

CHENNAI: A three-member team of doctors from Hyderabad's government-run Osmania Hospital arrived here today to conduct fresh postmortem of five of the victims of the police firing in Seshachalam forests of Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh on April 7.
The Hyderabad High Court had yesterday ordered fresh autopsies for the five (out of the 20 people killed) after their relatives moved the court seeking fresh postmortems.
The High Court had also ordered teams of medical experts from either Osmania Hospital or Gandhi Hospital (both state-run institutions) to fly to Chennai for the purpose.
The team of doctors comprise M Taquiddin Khan, Abhijit Subhedar and K V Ramana Murthy, sources said.
