NEW DELHI: Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) MP Chirag Paswan will be part of the four-member delegation which will represent India at the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The young parliamentarian, who is son of Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, will present India's views on "Permanent Mission of India to UN", a statement from the party said.

Chirag Paswan will also attend meetings and functions organised by Indian High Commission during his visit.

LJP said it is thankful to the government for nominating Paswan, who also heads its Central Parliamentary Board, in the four-member Indian delegation.
