Passing through the historic Stilwell Road, the exhibits arrived from Baoshan in China's Yunan province, an official release said in Itanagar on Wednesday.
The exhibits were received from the Chinese delegate by representatives of the North East Federation of International Trade (NEFIT) in presence of state officials including trade and commerce director Tokong Pertin and Jairampur additional deputy commissioner Kento Riba.
Pertin said use of the Stilwell Road was a "historic moment" after it was constructed in the Second World War.
He said the road could be a conduit for trade and better understanding for the two Asian economic giants as well as among the countries of the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Forum for Regional Cooperation (BCIM).
The director expressed enthusiasm to provide every possible support in terms of logistics with hope that it would go a long way in developing future trade and business among BCIM countries and ASEAN.
Riba, who looked unhappy with the poor liaisons by representatives of NEFIT with the Myanmar government leading to delays in delivering the exhibits, suggested they involve the local administration in future to avoid such circumstances, the release added.
