China 'highest priority' for India, says General Bikram Singh
BEIJING: Army chief General Bikram Singh on Thursday told the Chinese military brass that India attaches the “highest priority" to its relationship with China.

This is the first China visit by India's Chief of Army Staff in seven years. He expressed a keen desire to improve military to military relationship between the two countries, China's state media quoted him saying.

Chinese military officials talked about ensuring there are no “strategic errors“ on the border and preventing "disruptions to the broader military-to military relationship".

"Our common interests far outweigh our differences," Fan Changlong, vice chairman of China's Central Military Commission, said after meeting Singh.
