Chhota Rajan caught after he blurted out real name
Revealing his original name to immigration authorities when asked to step out of the queue at Bali in Indonesia landed Rajan in the security net and he was arrested soon after.

He was then whisked away by immigration authorities from the queue at the Bali airport. He later tried to dodge the investigators and claimed that his name was Mohan Kumar and not Rajendra Nikhaje, following which the authorities conducted fingerprint tests. As first reported in ET, it was his fingerprints that confirmed his identity, with 11 out of 18 features tallying with his records India had provided.
The seven-member team that brought Rajan had set up a control room in Bali for live feedback to senior officials monitoring the situation in Delhi. “The control room was in direct touch with the officials in the CBI headquarters with director Anil Sinha monitoring situation himself,” said sources, adding that they will now focus on if Rajan can provide them with new leads on Dawood Ibrahim, based in Pakistan. A thick security blanket was thrown around CBI headquarters, with large posse of policemen deployed outside the CBI buildings which is adjacent to RAW headquarters. “No vehicles other than official were allowed to ply in the lane in front of the CBI office,” said an official.
