NEW DELHI: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh met BJP President Rajnath Singh here and is understood to have finalised his cabinet.

Both the leaders have finalised council of ministers. There would be about 12 ministers in Chhattisgarh government, official sources said.

The ministers are likely to be administered oath of office and secrecy in two phases on December 18, 19, they said.

In the first phase, about eight to nine ministers are likely to be sworn in, the sources said adding there would be a mix of old and new faces in the cabinet.

BJP, led by Raman Singh, won 49 seats in recent assembly elections. Congress managed 39 seats in the 90-member assembly.

61-year-old Singh, who has made a hat-trick by winning this year's election, also paid a courtesy visit to BJP patriarch Atal Bihari Vajpayee at his residence.
