Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh ask BSNL to expedite work of mobile towers in Maoist areas
Singh has directed BSNL to finish installation of 181 mobile towers in the Maoist-hit pockets as early as possible to improve public communication systems.

"The direction in this regard was given during a meeting of unified command (for anti-Maoist operations) held here in the new state secretariat today," a senior official here said.

The chief minister deliberated upon the development of roads, rail routes and other essential infrastructure besides measures for safety of people in Maoist areas, at the meeting attended by senior officials.
During the meeting, Singh decided to seek the support of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) to construct the national highway from Raipur to Konta (Sukma district) via Jagdalpur, the official said.
He also assured adequate security for the construction of the Dallirajahra-Rowghat-Jagdalpur rail project, the official added.
