TIRUCHIRAPALLI (TN): BJP National Executive Member L Ganesan went on record today saying that the Chennai blasts were directed at creating chaos during the party's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's poll campaign in Andhra Pradesh.

Talking to newsmen here, he alleged that the arrest of suspected ISI operative Zakir Hussain four days back only proved his charge that fundamentalists from across the border were infiltrating India. He demanded that both the Central and State governments take action to prevent such infiltration.

On the six-party alliance formed in Tamil Nadu for the Lok Sabha polls,Ganesan who is also BJP's South Chennai constituency candidate said that "the front will continue".

The blast on the Bangalore-Guwahati Express at Central railway station in Chennai on May 1 killed one and injured 14 others.
