Chandrababu Naidu re-elected as TDP President for next two years
N Chandrababu Naidu secured another term as Telugu Desam Party president. This marks his 30th year leading the TDP since 1995. Naidu addressed party members at the Mahanadu conclave. He urged the NDA alliance to remain united for future elections....

The announcement was made by TDP Election Committee Chairman Varla Ramaiah during the party's annual Mahanadu conclave. With this re-election, Naidu marks a remarkable 30 years at the helm of the TDP, having first assumed leadership in 1995.
On the second day of Mahanadu, Naidu addressed a massive gathering of party members and supporters, calling on the National Democratic Alliance (NDA)—comprising the TDP, BJP, and Janasena—to remain united in the years ahead.
“The alliance has to be united. The responsibility of gaining a bigger victory in the 2029 polls than the 2024 majority is on all of you. You have to express your approval and joy over this,” Naidu told the crowd.
Praising the Centre's recent decision to conduct a caste census, Naidu described it as a move in the right direction.
“Once the census is done and the knowledge of a particular caste’s numbers is known, their financial position can be studied, and a special public policy can be created to benefit them,” he said.
Naidu also spoke of a 45-year roadmap laid out by the party for long-term development and progress. Expressing his deep personal commitment, he said he wished to be reborn on Telugu soil to continue serving the people. He called the grassroots worker the backbone of the TDP and thanked them for their relentless support over the decades.
Moreover, in a moving tribute to party founder NT Rama Rao, an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based video was showcased during the event, featuring a digitally recreated speech by NTR. The AI-generated address celebrated the TDP's 43-year journey, its mission, and the path ahead.
