BENGALURU: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday asked the captains of the aerospace industry to invest in Anantapur district taking full advantage of the low land costs, infrastructure facilities and good investment climate.

“Anantapur is part of Bengaluru city , but only in Andhra Pradesh state. It is close to Bengaluru international airport, and the district starts 50 km away from Bengaluru,“ he said at an interaction with captains of industry at Aero India 2015.

Asked if Hero MotorCorp is withdrawing its proposed industrial unit from Chittoor district and relocating to Karnataka, Naidu said, “I don't want to create a controversy here. All that I wish to say is we are mov to say is we are moving ahead with our MoU (we signed with the Hero).
