CFSL Chandigarh report shows CD doctored, proves smear campaign bid: Prashant Bhushan
The latest report on the controversial CD contradicts the earlier report of CFSL, Delhi, that claimed there was no tampering.
The latest report on the controversial CD contradicts the earlier report of CFSL, Delhi, that claimed there was no tampering and it didn't show abrupt changes in speech signals.
Prashant Bhushan said the report of the Delhi CFSL was influenced by senior government functionaries. "It was part of a smear campaign against civil society members on the Lokpal drafting panel," Bhushan said. "It is obvious that very senior functionaries in this government have been going along in this entire smear campaign. Only they could have procured such a dishonest report from the CFSL," he said.
Bhushan also insisted that the entire speech of Mulayam Singh was "cut and pasted." The controversial CD had Shanti Bhushan purportedly telling Mulayam Singh and then party general secretary Amar Singh that a judge could be "fixed" for 4 crore.
The latest finding has strengthened the claims of Shanti Bhushan and his son Prashant Bhushan that a private lab in Hyderabad and a US-based expert found the CD doctored.
