Centre's stand on triple talaq uniting Muslims: Babri Masjid Action Committee convener
MUZZAFARNAGAR: Babri Masjid Action Committee convener Zafaryab Jilani claimed that the Centre's stand on triple talaq has united Muslims in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh.

He sought to downplay allegations that Samajwadi Party had not fielded enough Muslim candidates saying Akhilesh Yadav is a rising brand in politics and because of this Muslims would vote for the party and not on the basis of candidates from the community.

Talking to reporters here, the senior Allahabad High Court advocate last evening claimed Muslims have united on the Centre's stand on triple talaq.
