Centre’s special representative Dineshwar Sharma meets delegations in Baramulla

SRINAGAR: Centre’s special representative Dineshwar Sharma met several delegations in Baramullah district of north Kashmir on Tuesday.

Many political and youth delegations met Sharma in Baramullah. However, bar association and some traders’ delegations boycotted the meet.

Sharma also visited Kupwara district of north Kashmir where he met family members of Asif Iqbal, a sumo driver killed allegedly by the Army earlier this year. According to the sources, he assured justice to the family as police has already registered an FIR. He also met PDP and BJP delegations in Baramulla. Sharma is also expected to meet delegations in Srinagar on Wednesday.
