Addressing students of different government schools at 'Bal Samagam-2016' at the Athletic Stadium, Khelgaon in Ranchi, Irani praised the work of Jharkhand government, especially the Education Department, an official release said.
She appreciated the Bal Sansad and Bal Samagam and assured to take the concept of Bal Samagam to the national level.
"The concept of Bal Samagam and Bal Sansad will definitely change the impression of government schools," the Minister said.
On the occasion, Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said Bal Samagam was basically a platform to encourage the talent of students studying in government schools.
Stating that a developed Jharkhand can be expected only by polishing budding talents, Das said the government would give all support to encourage the students.
He congratulated the Education Department and said the children of Jharkhand would create a benchmark with their talent in the 21st century, the release said.
Irani unveiled a book on the event titled 'Nurturing the present, shaping the future' and distributed prizes to the winners of different events organised at Bal Samagam-2016.
