Centre must give citizenship to Hindu Bengali from Bangladesh: Pravin Togadia
Several organisation in Assam has opposed the bill which proposes to give citizenship to Hindu Bengali migrants and is under consideration of Parliament.

Togadia in Hojai said that Hindus those who have come to India must be given protection.
Several organisation in Assam has opposed the Bill which proposes to give citizenship to Hindu Bengali migrants and currently is under consideration of Joint parliamentary Committee of both Houses of Parliament.
All Assam Students union (Aasu) has opposed the Bill. According to Assam accord, which was signed after six yearlong foreigners’ movement the cut of date for detection and deportation of foreigners is March 25, 1971.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh recently held meeting with Aasu representative and assured that that the spirit of Assam Accord would not be allowed to be diluted at any cost.
The home minister mulled constitution of a committee with representatives from Government of India, Government of Assam and AASU to ensure time bound implementation of all clauses of the Accord.
