Centre is presenting armed force personnel as terrorists: Modi

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday alleged that the Centre is presenting armed forces personnel as terrorists and people of the country will never forgive it for this sin.

NEEMUCH: Criticising the Congress-led UPA government for its lax policies in dealing with the terrorism, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday alleged that the Centre is presenting armed forces personnel as terrorists and people of the country will never forgive it for this sin.

"Congress-led UPA government is presenting armed forces personnel as terrorists which is highly derogatory for them and also a sin. People will teach them a befitting lesson in the polls," Modi said while addressing an election rally here for the November 27 assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh.

Strongly condemning the UPA for its alleged soft policies towards terrorism, Modi alleged that when a terrorist was caught Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was unable to see his (terrorist's) weeping mother, but it was most unfortunate for the country that when an innocent person became the victim of terror and his family cries at that time he (PM) rests in peace.

Earlier, Modi also addressed a poll rally at Manasa in the district and attacked the Centre for its alleged soft policies towards terrorism.
