Centre firm on setting up a strong Lokpal: Salman Khurshid

Talking to reporters here, Khurshid said the Centre was firm in its promise of getting a strong Lokpal passed with the support of all political parties.

On being asked about any initiative on the part of the Centre to hold talks yoga guru Ramdev or earlier Hazare, he said that deliberations create several problems therefore he decided to keep himself away this time.
On the crime situation in Uttar Pradesh, he said rising crime graph in the state was not a good thing and all parties should cooperate to check it.
