Centre committed to realising dreams of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, says Nitin Gadkari
SRINAGAR: Even as the suspense on government formation in Jammu & Kashmir continues, senior BJP leader and Union minister Nitin Gadkari on Sunday stated that the central government was committed to realising the dreams of late chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.

Gadkari visited Srinagar residence of Peoples Democratic Party president Mehbooba Mufti and offered condolences and sympathies on behalf of the NDA government and assured New Delhi’s complete support. “We would undoubtedly try to fulfil the dreams of Mufti sahib. His death is a great loss to his family and the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” Gadkari told reporters at Fairview residence of Mehbooba Mufti.

As of now, Jammu & Kashmir is under the Governor’s rule.
