Mamata slams Centre for bulldozing federal structure, compares BJP's rule to Hitler and Stalin's
Banerjee, addressing a press meet here, claimed that the “saffron party rule was worse than that of Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin or Benito Mussolini”.

“The central agencies should be made independent, so that they can function impartially. Only the salary should be given either from the state or central government exchequer. Only then the central agencies can work independently and impartially. Forcefully the central agencies are being used for political purpose. It is political vendetta of the Centre by using the central agencies,” Mamata Banerjee said while speaking to the mediapersons at Nabanna State Secretariat.
Comparing the BJP-ruled Central government with “Tughlaqi rule”, Banerjee claimed the Centre is worse than the rule of Hitler and Stalin.
She also said hat several thousand crores are due from the Centre which is being withhold. “The state governments are not given their dues and the Modi government is looting money,” she said, indicating that the central agencies like CBI and ED work following the directives of the Centre.
“Central tax waiver in Petrol is Rs 8 and in diesel it is Rs 6 by the Centre. The state deduction segment is Rs 2.80 in petrol in diesel is Rs 2.03. With this deduction, we are making loss of Rs 641 from our state exchequer,” Banerjee claimed.
“After all the word-bombs, Mamata govt reduced the price of petrol-diesel by mere Rs 2 whereas inflation is highest in WB. The only work of WB govt is to beat their chests citing lack of funds. Compared to other govts, they have made the least reduction,” BJP National Vice-President Dilip Ghosh tweeted.
