Celebrities to take part in 'Vadodara Navratri Festival'

VADODARA: Bollywood actors Karishma Kapoor, Raveena Tandon and Govinda will participate in the upcoming ' Vadodara Navratri Festival' (VNF) here from October 13 to 22.

VNF managing committee member Amit Bhatnagar today told reporters that all the three film personalities will take part in the festival.

"Raveena will come on October 15 while Govinda will take part on October 17. The dates of Karishma Kapoor are yet to be finalised," he said.

"Singer Nisha Upadhyay and her husband Soli Kapadia will be there for the Garbha (a Gujarati dance) festival, he added.

Police said security will be beefed up for the mega-event.

City police Commissioner E Radhakrishna told PTI, "The funds raised through this event will be used for development activities for police".
