BSF has intensified its patrolling along the Indo-Pak border in the wake of escalating ceasefire violations by Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir.

JAISLAMER: The Border Security Force ( BSF) has intensified its patrolling along the Indo-Pak border in the wake of escalating ceasefire violations by Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir.

"Patrolling has been intensified and BSF personnel have been asked to be alert and watchful of any suspicious activity on and across the border," DIG (BSF), Amit Lodha said.

Additional troops have been rushed to some sensitive places, he said adding the villages near the border area also under vigilance.

District Collector N L Meena said the civil authorities have been asked to have a proper coordination with the security force.

"The civil officers have been asked to ensure compliance with night curfew in the border areas so that no suspicious activity can happen in the areas close to the border," he said.
