CBI to train officers at IIM-Bangalore, National Law School
The agency has also proposed to set up an International Centre of Excellence in Investigation besides a modern Forensic Science Lab, Anil Sinha said.

On the 52nd foundation day of CBI, Sinha spoke to his officers in an internal program which was out of bounds for media but was webcast live.
Highlighting the modernisation steps undertaken by the agency, which were brainchild of his predecessor Ranjit Sinha, he said CBI officers will get training at IIM Bangalore and National Law School in batches of 60 each.
The agency has also proposed to set up an International Centre of Excellence in Investigation besides a modern Forensic Science Lab, he said.
According to Sinha, in only 5-6 per cent cases, help of forensics is taken in criminal investigation.
The probe of the agency in cases like Badaun suicide and Aarushi murder has been criticised for the lack of forensic evidence.
In high profile case like Saradha, the agency has expressed inability to probe cases where scam amount is less than Rs 50 lakh.
Sinha claimed the Centre of Excellence in Investigation would not only offer training to investigators and prosecutors in India but also offer training courses to law enforcement agencies of SAARC/ASEAN Region.
