CBI to quiz Shourie on 2G Scam

NEW DELHI: Former telecom minister Arun Shourie will be examined by the CBI on Feb 21 on the 2G spectrum scam.

The BJP leader, who has been maintaining that he had informed Prime Minister Manmohan Singh about the loss to the exchequer in the 2G spectrum allocation, had offered to explain to the investigating agency all that he knows about the case.

He had told ET recently that he had met the CBI director in Oct, 2009, and that he had information that CBI got its first informant in the case in Nov, 2009.
