CBI to investigate Rajkumar murder case
The CBI has agreed to investigate into the assassination of former Lok Sabha member Wangcha Rajkumar in December last at Deomali in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh.

ITANAGAR: The CBI has agreed to investigate into the assassination of former Lok Sabha member Wangcha Rajkumar in December last at Deomali in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh.
The youth Congress leader, who was elected to the Lok Sabha twice, fell to bullets when two assailants fired at him while he was playing badminton in a club there.
Official sources on Sunday said that CBI had conveyed its willingness in writing after the Arunachal government requested it in accordance with the decision taken by the state assembly and cabinet.
The state assembly had earlier condemned the assassination of Rajkumar, who was a former member of the house, and unanimously adopted a resolution to hand over the investigation to the CBI.
During an hour-long intense discussion members cutting across party lines alleged that they were getting threatening SMSes from outside the state.
