MUMBAI: Well over a month after initiating probe into the Adarsh Cooperative Housing Society (ACHS) scam, CBI is likely to summon a section of its members to seek more information on the society’s formation and allotment of land.

‘‘ The Mumbai collector has submitted the entire information . In view of non-cooperation of the society, we feel CBI will summon a section of the members, defence and state government officials to obtain specific information from them,’’ a senior official said.

After a complaint against the society comprising politicians , defence officials and bureaucrats , CBI launched a preliminary probe on October 2. Later, it asked Mumbai collector Chandrashekhar Oke, defence officials and ACHS office bearers to submit the list of membership, affidavits and declarations filed by the members .

Accordingly, Oke submitted the information. But there was no response from either from the defence or ACHS office bearers.
CBI will now act on the basis of the documents submitted by the Mumbai collector.
