CBI starts Narada crackdown, TMC leader summoned
KOLKATA: After a month of investigation, CBI sent its first notice in connection with the Narada sting operation scam . The first notice has been sent to Trinamool Congress leader Iqbal Ahmed.

Ahmed is known as a close relative of an MP of ruling TMC here. He was initially interrogated by the Kolkata Police too when the city police was probing into the matter. According to sources, Ahmed is the person who allegedly fixed appointments with the Trinamool Congress leaders and took Mathew Samuel of Narada there.

CBI is learnt have emailed the notice to the TMC leader and asked him to appear before the investigators at the CBI office in Kolkata on June 10.
