CBI registers 2 fresh cases over abuse in shelter homes in Bihar

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered two fresh cases over alleged sexual abuse in shelter home abuses in Bihar. The FIRs have been registered against Rupam Pragati Samaj Samiti, Bhagalpur & House Mother Children home in Gaya for allegedly ill-treating the inmates by using & physically assaulting them.

The Apex Court had handed over the investigation into all the 17 cases of sexual abuse and exploitation of children at shelter homes in Bihar to the CBI.
